Borrowing Information

• Check out materials with a current, valid UL Lafayette ID. (View how visitors can borrow.)
• Borrowing limits are determined by the user's classification with the University.
• Loan periods for most materials are 21 days.
• Overdue materials will result in fines. (View Fines & Fees Policy)
• Renewals of materials are allowed as long as no other user has requested them.
• Holds may be placed only on materials that are currently checked out.
• Log in to your library account to view your checked out items, holds, and fines.
• Return materials to the Service Desk, the drop slot located to the left of the front entrance, or the return box behind the library.
