Special Collections will host a program, “Revitalizing Acadian Culture in South Louisiana.” This event will feature Warren Perrin on Acadian history and resurgence. Mr. Perrin will also display and discuss some old Acadian artifacts and the Queen’s apology to the Acadians. The last half of the program will feature Cajun music by the Board to Tears Band, Members of the Louisiana Folk Roots, Board of Directors.

Special Collections has posted a new digital exhibit entitled Dear Mr. Fletcher: Letters from the Second World War.
The finding aid for the Colonial Louisiana Records Collection in the University Archives and Acadiana Manuscripts Collection has been updated to include a link to A Guide to French Louisiana Manuscripts: An expanded and revised edition of the 1926 Surrey Calendar with Appendices, which is an electronic version of Nancy M. Miller Surrey's Calendar of Manuscripts in Paris Archives and Libraries Relating to the History of the Mississippi Valley to 1803.
