Acadiana Files
The Acadiana Files (a.k.a. vertical or subject files) is a collection of loose materials such as newspaper clippings, booklets, pamphlets, brochures, postcards, reports, and ephemera related to all things Acadiana and Louisiana. These materials were historically stored in vertical filing cabinets in folders arranged by category. A majority of these files have been digitized and are only available on patron computers located in our reading room. Our library team is making progress with the digitization of the rest of these files to preserve their fragile nature.
