Acadiana Files
The Acadiana Files (a.k.a. vertical files or subject files) is a collection of loose materials such as newspaper clippings, booklets, pamphlets, brochures, postcards, reports, and ephemera related to all things Acadiana and Louisiana. These materials have been stored in vertical filing cabinets in folders arranged by topic or category. Some of these files have been digitized and are only available on patron computers located in our reading room. Our library team is making progress with the digitization of the rest of these files to preserve their fragile nature.
