Laura (Davis) Samson was born in 1900 in Point Coupee Parish, Louisiana. She died in 1997 in Point Coupee Parish and is buried at the False River Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in New Roads, Louisiana.
This collection includes manuscripts of three fictional short stories by Laura Samson, written in or around 1933, as well as correspondence. These papers were collected by Dr. Andy Reaux.
