Dupré Library Special Collections and the Guilbeau Center for Public History are hosting the first of three planned virtual lectures as part of their ALA American Rescue Plan Humanities Grant. The lectures will feature archivists who specialize in archiving LGBTQ+ collections.

The first planned event will feature Kelsi Evans, Director of the Dr. John P. De Cecco Archives and Special Collections at the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco, California. She will speak about her organization, collections, and major projects. She will also discuss outreach initiatives, challenges faced, and methods for describing LGBTQ+ archives.
