Special Collections and the Guilbeau Center for Public History are hosting the next virtual Queering the Collection lecture on LGBTQ+ archives as part of the American Library Association's American Rescue Plan Humanities Grants for Libraries. These events are supported through funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

This lecture will feature Frank Perez, Executive Director of the LGBT+ Archives Project of Louisiana. He will speak about this organization and his efforts to document and preserve LGBT+ history in Louisiana.

The lecture will be held Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 5:30pm on Zoom. Register for this event.
