Helen Louise Cary was a 1946 graduate and member of the “Red Jackets” of Southwestern Louisiana Institute (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette). She taught public school music for 20 years in Jennings, Louisiana, Pasadena, TX, and Lafayette Parish. She also taught after-school piano and directed choirs at Faith Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, TX and Grace Presbyterian in Lafayette until 1995. She sang in the choir until 2010.
This collection contains personal items belonging to Ms. Cary, including and placement office application, certificates, and programs.
