All computers in the STEP and ROC labs have been updated to include Microsoft Office 2013 applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
On Friday, September 5, 2014, members of the Mouton family will donate their original publisher copies of The Lafayette Gazette newspaper to the Archives of Edith Garland Dupré Library. The event will take place in the Jefferson Caffery Reading Room on the third floor of the Library at 10:00 a.m.

Dupré Library would like to express its condolences to Bruce Trible's family. Mr. Trible passed away on Jan. 27, 2022 at the age of 94. Mr. Trible became the reserves librarian at Dupré Library in 1958. Throughout his professional career, he was an active participant in the Louisiana Library Association and the American Library Association. In 1990, he retired from the library with the rank of full professor and the title of Assistant Director for Technical Services.

Special Collections is now offering digitization services for users needing to access the archives during COVID-19.
You may fill out the Digitization Request Form and request a reasonable amount of items for Special Collections staff to scan and send. Digitization fees will be waived during this phase unless the scans are for publication.
Special Collections will not duplicate entire collections or materials deemed to be protected under copyright.
