On Jan. 15, 2021, SciFinder launched SciFindern. This new database provides access to new workflow solutions such as PatentPak™, MethodsNow™ and Retrosynthesis Planner as well as the core CAS-created databases available in classic SciFinder. It is intended to help users optimally leverage information by dramatically reducing the time spent analyzing and refining answer sets.

Current SciFinder users can use their existing usernames and passwords to log into SciFindern. In the next few weeks, SciFinder will be sending active users a series of Welcome emails to assist with this new database.

First-time users must first register from a computer on campus. To register for a SciFinder or SciFindern account, email reference@louisiana.edu for registration instructions.
