Dupré Library now provides online access to Cabell’s Directories, a definitive source of publication information on more than 8,500 academic and scholarly journals across eleven disciplines, including business, education, psychology, computer science, nursing and health administration.
The Cajun & Creole Music Collection (CCMC) is located on the 3rd floor within the Ernest J. Gaines Center and visits are by appointment only this semester.

The UL Lafayette Office of Communications and Marketing received a 2019-2020 CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) District IV Accolades Silver Award for the design of the new Cajun and Creole Music Collection Brochure (PDF).

On Monday, August 15th, first-year students are invited to chill in the air conditioning of the library for Puppies & Popsicles from 2:00 - 3:30. Meet a Dupré librarian, have a popsicle, and snuggle a certified therapy dog from Pet Partners of Acadiana.
Delta Sigma Pi is having a canned food drive February 1-15. Drop off your canned good at the library or one of the other donation locations.

The Ernest J. Gaines Center, in conjunction with the Lafayette Public Library, Friends of the Humanities, and the Deep South Festival of Writers, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the publication of Gaines's first novel. Events will occur throughout the fall semester at various locations.
