Education Source database covers all levels of education—from early childhood to higher education—as well as all educational specialties such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. It includes full-text for more than 1,800 journals, 550 books and monographs, education-related conference papers, and citations for more than 5 million articles, including book reviews.
Research Databases can be accessed using your ULID and password.
Tutors from the UL Lafayette Writing Lab will be in the library again this semester to assist students.

The new wireless network is being implemented in the library.
If you've tried to access the wireless network on the 3rd floor recently, you've noticed a new Wi-Fi SSID called "UL-WiFi." Today, implementation continues on the 1st and 2nd floors. Students, faculty, and staff can connect to the network with their ULID and password, and there is now guest registration access for visitors.

The 2nd Annual Ernest J. Gaines lecture is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. in the Ernest J. Gaines Center on the 3rd floor.
Dr. John Lowe of the University of Georgia will deliver the lecture "First Threads of the Bayonne Tapestry: The Achievements of Catherine Carmier."
The event is free and open to the public.
