Exhibit: Folklorist Nick Spitzer

In cooperation with the College of the Arts, the March library exhibit celebrates the career contributions of folklorist, professor of anthropology and American studies, and American Routes host and producer, Nick Spitzer. Spitzer is the recipient of this year's Festival of the Arts' SPARK Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by the College of the Arts.

Biology Tutoring in the Library With Mentoring Matters

Volunteers from the UL Lafayette Department of Biology's Mentoring Matters program will be in the library throughout the semester to tutor students who need help with their biology coursework, including BIO 110, BIO 121, and BIO 112 (laboratory).

Monday | 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday | 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Wednesday | 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Thursday | 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The tutoring station will be located in the Reference Area on the 1st floor.

Feb. 5 – 10, 2016

Friday, Feb.5 | 7:30 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 6 – Tuesday, Feb. 9 | CLOSED
Wednesday, Feb. 10 | 7:30 a.m. – midnight

All public service departments, including the Circulation/Reserve Desk, Interlibrary Loan, Reference Desk/Chat, Reference Online Center (ROC) Lab, and STEP Labs, close 15 minutes before the building closes.

Writing Lab Library Hours

Tutors from the UL Lafayette Writing Lab will be available to students in the library this semester.

Monday – Thursday | 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Writing Lab tutors will be in the Reference Area on the 1st floor.

The Writing Lab is staffed by tutors who assist students at any stage of the writing process. The Center welcomes students from all disciplines and also offers resources for students writing in English as a second language. Find more information about services at the Writing Lab.
