This week, we are sharing a remarkable aerial photograph of campus.

In this picture is the University in the midst of its expansion. The current student union and H.L. Griffin Hall have not been built yet, and the library only has one story.

While there is no date on this particular photograph, it is possible to narrow down the date to a couple of years. Dupré Library was constructed in 1960, but the 2nd and 3rd floors were added in 1967. In this picture, Dupré library is only one story. Angelle Hall was completed in 1965 and in this picture, Angelle hall has been completed. By utilizing these clues, we can narrow down the year this picture was taken to sometime between when Angelle was completed in 1965 and before they started construction on Dupré Library in 1967.
