Special Collections has just created a new research guide for formatting references and citations for archival materials. The guide provides examples of APA, Chicago Style, and MLA citations of unpublished manuscripts, letters, photographs, and oral histories. Citations include reference lists and in-text citations. The guide also includes resources for information on the three citations styles and other research guides listing formats for archival materials.

The link to the Special Collections Reference Citations Guide can be found on Special Collections, University Archives and Manuscripts, the Special Collections Policy, and the Digitization and Photoduplication Policy.

For more information, contact Zachary Stein, Head of Special Collections.
