Join us Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ernest J. Gaines Center to hear a reading from the 2009 Ernest J. Gaines Award for Literary Excellence recipient Jeffery Renard Allen. His recent book, Song of the Shank, received a front page review in The New York Times Book Review this past summer.
This is event is part of the celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of Ernest J. Gaines' first novel publication.
