New Resource: ArchivesSpace for Special Collections Finding Aids

University Libraries has implemented ArchivesSpace as its new finding aids platform.

Users can easily conduct specified and advanced searches of the libraries' voluminous special collections, including the:

• University Archives and Acadiana Manuscripts Collection
• Cajun and Creole Music Collection
• Ernest J. Gaines Center

ArchivesSpace allows users to search the special collections in ways similar to the library catalog, using simple search keywords to gain access to information on a variety of collections spanning a multitude of subjects. Users can also search for collections by searching for their designated four-digit collection number (e.g. 0008 for collection 8 or 0310 for collection 310).
