Mr. Bruce Trible
Tue, 02/01/2022 - 2:19pmDupré Library would like to express its condolences to Bruce Trible's family. Mr. Trible passed away on Jan. 27, 2022 at the age of 94. Mr. Trible became the reserves librarian at Dupré Library in 1958. Throughout his professional career, he was an active participant in the Louisiana Library Association and the American Library Association. In 1990, he retired from the library with the rank of full professor and the title of Assistant Director for Technical Services.
After his retirement, Mr. Trible and his wife established a fund that is still in use today for the library to purchase music materials.
