Revitalizing Acadian Culture in South Louisiana

The Special Collections Department at Edith Garland Dupré Library will host a program, “Revitalizing Acadian Culture in South Louisiana.” This event is scheduled for September 19, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Special Collections on the third floor of Dupré Library, and will feature Warren Perrin on Acadian history and resurgence.

Mr. Perrin will also display and discuss some old Acadian artifacts and the Queen’s apology to the Acadians. The last half of the program will feature Cajun music by the Board to Tears band, Members of the Louisiana Folk Roots, Board of Directors.
