Gifts In Honor or Memory of Individuals
The Dedicated Books Program provides an excellent means of recognizing the contributions others have made to our lives. Gifts of $50.00 or more permit Dupré Library to purchase new books, affixing each with a bookplate imprinted with the name of the honoree, and the name of the donor. What better way to acknowledge a family member who attended the University, one who helped finance the donor's education or a professor who had an influence on the donor's life, than with a gift which will benefit future generations of students?
Contributions to this program totaling $250.00 or more may also be designated to establish a permanent endowment fund in the name of the donor or an honoree. This fund returns annual interest proceeds to the library for special book purchases. The library will place an appropriate bookplate in each purchased book as a permanent record. All gifts to the library are tax deductible.
To participate, send your name(s), along with the name of the individual(s) being honored/memorialized, to the following address. Include a list of individuals with addresses for those you'd like us to notify about this gift. Contributions should be made out to Edith Garland Dupré Library.
