Have you ever held a live alligator? Get the opportunity to touch and handle alligators along with furs, skulls, and other Louisiana native wildlife products from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and the Louisiana Fur Advisory Council.

Due to inclement weather conditions, the library building will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21, Wednesday, Jan. 22, Thursday, Jan. 23, and Friday, Jan. 24.
During this time, research help will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (4:30 on Friday) via Ask a Librarian. Library departments will be available via email.
The library plans to reopen for normal operations on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The library will be CLOSED for Winter Break from Saturday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 5.

A $1,000 Arts Fellowship is available for University of Louisiana at Lafayette juniors and seniors majoring within the College of the Arts.
The fellowship recipient will engage with one or more of the collections at Dupré Library, base their creative project on this interaction, and present their project in the form of an exhibition, performance, or similar showcase.
Deadline to apply is Jan. 20, 2025.
