Event: Queering the Collection: LGBTQ+ Archives Lecture Series, Part 2
Wed, 08/03/2022 - 4:30pmSpecial Collections and the Guilbeau Center for Public History are hosting the second virtual Queering the Collection lecture on LGBTQ+ archives as part of the American Library Association's American Rescue Plan Humanities Grants for Libraries. These events are supported through funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
This lecture will feature Bridgett Johnson-Pride, Reference Services Librarian for Houghton Library at Harvard University. She will speak about her time working at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture where she highlighted collections on Black LGBTQ+ Studies.
The lecture will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 4:30pm on Zoom. Register for this event.
