Copy Machines

Self-service copy machines are for campus departmental use only. They no longer accept Cajun Cards for student use. The copies are black and white, no color/

Cost:

  • $0.07 per 8.5x11
  • $0.07 per 8.5x14
  • $0.14 per 11x17

Locations:

  • 1st Floor – Copy Center
  • 3rd Floor – Jefferson Caffery Reading Room

Scanning Stations

Self-service KIC Scanning Stations are available on all floors to use at no charge. Using touch screen technology and an overhead scanner, the stations allow users to edit and send scans in a variety of file formats to a USB drive, Cloud Storage, QR Code, the MyDocs app, or email.

Locations:

  • 1st Floor – Catalog Station (in front of the Elevators)
  • 1st Floor – Copy Center
  • 2nd Floor – Main Hallway Stacks (near shelf T 1-22)
  • 3rd Floor – Jefferson Caffery Reading Room
  • 3rd Floor – Cajun & Creole Music Collection

KIC scanning station

Available thanks to a Student Technology Enhancement Program (STEP) Grant.

Stacks Maintenance

Circulation Services includes the stacks area, the shelves where library materials are on each floor. A full-time employee and assigned student assistants maintain these areas. Their responsibility includes the upkeep of these areas and offering assistance as needed by users.

Intercom Paging

Paging of individuals will be allowed in case of medical emergency only.
