The UL Lafayette Department of English's Writing Lab is returning to in-person tutoring services at its new home in Dupré Library.
The Center welcomes students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines at any stage in the writing process and also offers resources for those writing in English as a second language.
Hours (subject to change):
Monday – Thursday | 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday | 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Closed during University holidays and breaks.
Therapy dog teams from Pet Partners of Acadiana will visit the library to help students relax and destress during finals week. The event takes place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 .
During the event, the third floor of the library will remain a quiet space for students who are studying.
Therapy dogs from Pet Partners of Acadiana will once again visit the library this semester to help students destress during finals week. Therapy dogs can provide comfort, lower anxiety and even lower blood pressure. Take a break from finals and join us at 1:00 on Wednesday, May 4, to relax and play!
Therapy dog teams will visit Dupré Library on Wednesday, December 9, from 1:00 - 2:30 PM to provide much-needed stress relief to UL Lafayette students during finals week. Dogs and their handlers from Pets for Health and Pet Partners will visit students on the first and second floors of the library. The third floor of the library will remain a quiet area during the event for students who may have allergies or who wish to continue studying.
All students are invited and welcome to attend.
Certified therapy dog teams from the organization Pets for Health will once again be visiting us during finals week to help students relax and de-stress.
The event takes place on Wednesday, May 6, at 1 p.m. on the 1st and 2nd floors.

From 2014 forward, all physical copies are available in Special Collections on the 3rd floor. Some theses and dissertations are available in full-text online.
