Here in Special Collections, we safeguard a wealth of rare books and artifacts that are desperately in need of preservation.
Special Collections - Vintage University Banners
As the 125th anniversary of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette draws to a close, the Dupré Library and the Special Collections department have showcased vintage university banners representing the years they were established.
The banners are displayed in the 1st floor stairwell and hallway of the library and in the Jefferson Caffrey Reading Room located on the 3rd floor.
Special Collections Access & Blanco Center Construction
Due to construction of the new Blanco Center, some archival collections may be inaccessible for the next several weeks. All Louisiana Collection items will still be available.

All public service departments, including the Service Desks, Interlibrary Loan, Ask a Librarian/Chat, Reference Online Center (ROC) Lab, and STEP Labs, close 15 minutes before the building closes.
Regular hours resume Sunday, April 12.
