Cajun and Creole Music Collection


The UL Lafayette Office of Communications and Marketing received a 2019-2020 CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) District IV Accolades Silver Award for the design of the new Cajun and Creole Music Collection Brochure (PDF).
Delta Sigma Pi is having a canned food drive Feb. 1-15. Drop off your canned good at the library or one of the other donation locations.

The mission of the Catalog Department is to support the teaching, research, and service mission of Dupré Library and the University by providing bibliographic access to the collections housed in the library and its branches. To accomplish this goal, the department strives to:
The Ernest J. Gaines Center, in conjunction with the Lafayette Public Library, Friends of the Humanities, and the Deep South Festival of Writers, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the publication of Gaines's first novel. Events will occur throughout the fall semester at various locations.

Attend the U.S. Postal Service's Ernest J. Gaines Forever Stamp first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony. The event will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, in the Atchafalaya Ballroom in the Student Union at 620 McKinley St.
Registration has ended. This indoor event is open to the public. Paid parking is located in the Girard Park Circle garage. Email questions to events@louisiana.edu.
The library replaced its library catalog with a new system on Aug. 2. The modern interface and search functionality is user-friendly and operates similarly to a Google search.

Circulation Services provides friendly and courteous service to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette community and the general public in lending library materials. Staff members are responsible for managing library study spaces, answering directional questions, and stack maintenance.
