2026 Caffery Award Winner
Fri, 05/29/2026 - 10:42amDupré Library and Special Collections honors Connor Benoit as this year's winner of the Jefferson Caffery Research Award. The winning paper was entitled "Alexandre Declouet: A Study and Re-examination of Chauvinistic Heritage in Antebellum Louisiana, 1812-1860."
The Caffery Competition provides an award of $500.00 to recognize outstanding scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in Special Collections of Dupré Library.
