Help UL Lafayette's Ragin' Rescue with their donation drive for Wild Cat Foundation and Spaynation. Drop off supplies from March 2 through March 12 in the designated box at the front entrance.
As kitten season approaches, the members of the Ragin' Rescue are seeking donations for Wild Cat Foundation and their sister organization Spaynation.
Consider donating any items listed to help this amazing organization care for so many cats this spring.
UL Lafayette's Ragin' Writers are having a Book Drive March 20 – 24 in Dupré Library and H.L. Griffin. All books collected will be donated to Friends of the Lafayette Public Library.
Textbooks, encyclopedias, or magazines will not be accepted.
The library, now a member of RapidILL, offers free access to journal articles and book chapters with 24-hour turnaround times.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) provides access to material not already available from the library's collections. If we don't have what you need, we'll try to get it for you from another institution through ILL.
The Rare Book Collection contains items published before 1900 and items that have intrinsic value such as limited editions or copies inscribed by the author. Strengths include horticulture, architecture, and French literature and history.
The Rare Book Collection in Special Collections contains materials which are housed away from the circulating collection because of the date of publication or some other special characteristic. This policy is concerned not only with making these materials available to interested users, but also with ensuring their preservation.
Join us for a reading by author Ernest Gaines on the campus of UL Lafayette next Sunday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. in Moody Hall 103. The reading is part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the publication of his first novel, Catherine Carmier. The event is free and open to the public.

The University further recognizes that proper methods of records disposal and the determination of what records to store in the University Archives for permanent preservation is an important responsibility.
