Library Closed for Winter Break
The library will be CLOSED for winter break from Saturday, Dec. 16, through Tuesday, Jan. 2.
Library Closed Monday, Aug. 15
Along with the University, the library will be CLOSED on Monday, Aug. 15, due to recent flooding in southern Louisiana. We expect to open for regular hours at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16.
Library Closed Wednesday Due to Severe Weather Forecast
Dupré Library will be closing at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6 due to impending severe weather and will remained closed on Wednesday, May 7.
The library will open at 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 8.
Remote research services will be available on Wednesday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Library Closing at 3:30 on Friday, Oct. 9
Due to the Tinta Mardi Gras Parade on campus, the library will CLOSE at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
Library Closing Early on Tuesday
The library, along with the University, will close at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in anticipation of severe weather.
Campus will reopen and classes and normal business operations will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
Library Closure Due to Approaching Storm
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will close at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, and will remain closed on Wednesday, Sept. 11, because of Tropical Storm Francine. The campus expects to open at noon on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Library Closure Due to Hurricane Delta
The library will CLOSE at noon today, Thursday, Oct. 8 through Saturday, Oct. 10. The library plans to reopen with regular hours starting Sunday.
Virtual reference assistance will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and not available on Friday and Saturday.

All public service departments, including the Circulation/Reserve Desk, Interlibrary Loan, Reference Desk/Chat, Reference Online Center (ROC) Lab, and STEP Labs, close at their regular hours:
