Discover our latest exhibit, showcasing a collection of artworks, digital tools, playlists, reading guides, creative writing, zines, and more, all created by Fall 2024 students in ENGL 496G: Toni Morrison.

Reading a selection of Toni Morrison's novels, short stories, and criticism, students asked questions about how, why, and to what end Morrison's literary and scholarly work theorized the afterlives of slavery and the construction of Blackness, as well as Black freedom dreams and Black aesthetics. Along the way, students created public-facing projects that make humanities engaging, legible, and accessible to a public audience.
