Repositories

The University Archives & Acadiana Manuscripts Collection repository houses the archival records of the University starting in 1900 as well as personal or family papers, business or organizational records, photographs, oral history recordings, and much more from the Acadiana region of Louisiana, but several have a much broader scope.

The Cajun and Creole Music Collection repository contains commercial recordings, selected non-commercial recordings, and other music-related research materials of Southwest and parts of Southeast Louisiana.

The Ernest J. Gaines Center repository honors the published works, unpublished manuscripts, gallery proofs, and newspaper clippings of the University's Writer-in-Residence Emeritus.
