The episode is called "How Dupré Library's Outreach is Inspired by an Arts and Culture Collective."
About the Episode:
In addition to being a librarian at Dupré Library at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Peter Klubek is an artist and member of Nunu Arts and Culture Collective. Peter realized that much of the community programs at Nunu might have crossover appeal to the library, so he and Tiffany Ellis started using ideas from the collective to inform outreach initiatives at Dupre. The result has been "Creative Place Making," which encourages rethinking the space of a library to better tailor it to the needs of its users. Plus we get to hear about Peter's passion for his art, and Tiffany's love for baking in an edition of "Pitch Your Passion."
