Join us for a virtual talk on intermediality in French comics with Dr. Fabrice Leroy, BORSF Endowed Professor of Francophone Studies. Registration is required.

Tuesday, Oct. 11 | 6 p.m.

Through examples of artwork from a variety of recent publications, this talk discusses intermediality (the use of mixed media) in comics and graphic novels that engage in a productive interface with other visual arts such as photography, film, reportage, painting, video games, etc.

This event was made possible by a grant from the Friends of the Humanities. For further questions, contact the event coordinators Janelle Zetty at janelle.zetty@louisiana.edu and Zachary Stein at zachary.stein@louisiana.edu.
