Thu, 10/17/2019 - 11:57amThe desk of UL Lafayette's first president, Dr. Edwin Lewis Stephens, has been faithfully restored thanks to the efforts of George Parker of Parker Woodworks & Furniture Repair in Lafayette. The desk can be viewed in the Jefferson Caffery Reading Room on the 3rd floor.
In honor of this occasion, Dr. James Savage of the Office of Communications and Marketing has written an article about the desk and its restoration.
