Wed, 12/14/2022 - 2:51pmCongratulations to Cheylon Woods, an honoree for the705's 14th annual 20 Under 40 Acadiana Leadership Award! Cheylon is the director of the Ernest J. Gaines Center, an archivist, and an associate professor at the Edith Garland Dupré Library.
The mission of the705 is to develop the community and its members personally, professionally, and civically. A committee selected 20 young professionals from 175 nominations and 86 applications who have demonstrated a vision and leadership toward making a better future in Acadiana.
The honorees will be recognized during an event on March 24, 2023 at the UL Lafayette Student Union.
