On Thursday, March 17 at 6 p.m., Special Collections will be hosting a free film screening to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the 1986 classic "Belizaire the Cajun."

Following the film screening, Professor Conni Castille will lead a panel discussion with Glen Pitre (writer/director), Allan Durand (producer), and Michael Doucet (music). You’ll also get to enjoy a live musical performance by Michael Doucet, who will perform music from the film’s soundtrack.

The event will be held at the Oliver Hall auditorium. Space is limited, so reserve your seat today.
