Dupré Librarian Honored With Award

Dupré Librarian Sheryl M. Curry has received the Lucy B. Foote Award, given by the Louisiana Library Association's Subject Specialist Section at the Association's annual conference in March. This award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to special librarianship. Curry was honored for her years as Review Column Editor of the Louisiana Libraries journal and for her initiatives in providing access to environmental information. Curry is Associate Professor of Library Science and Assistant Dean for Technical Services at Edith Garland Dupré Library at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (retired).
