Join us on Monday, Sept. 18 to celebrate Constitution Day 2023.

Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.

Schedule of Events:

9 a.m. in the outside area between Judice-Rickels and Wharton - Public reading of the US Constitution with voter registration tables

11 a.m. in Dupré Library - Naturalization ceremony with a special performance by the UL Choir

4 p.m. in the Helma Constantine Forum in the Student Union - "Secrecy, The Deep State, and the Constitution" keynote address by Dr. Nick Cullather, Department of History at Indiana University

Sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts, the Guilbeau Fund, the Department of History, Geography, and Philosophy, the Student Government Association, the University Honors Program, the Office of First-Year Experience, Edith Garland Dupré Library, and the Constitution Day Committee.
