Library hours align with semester schedules and University closures; open late evenings during Fall and Spring; open 24 hours during the week leading up to and the week of Final Exams; view Library Hours

Parking

Visitor parking is available on Levels 1 and 2 in the Girard Park Circle Parking Garage with hourly parking fees; use the ParkMobile app for hourly paid parking in designated areas; the lot on the side of the Student Union is designated as complimentary 30-minute parking; accessible parking spaces are available behind the library on Rex Street next to Parking Zone 8 and in Parking Zone 7 on St. Mary Boulevard; view the Office of Transportation Services

Over 1.5 million bound volumes, 2 million microform units, 6,000 serial titles, print and non-print back files, over 250 research databases, 560,000+ eBooks, 100+ research guides, an array of items from special collections and archives, U.S. government information, and much more

Catalog

Access the Dupré Library Catalog to find print and online books, periodical titles, government information, microforms, CDs/DVDs, and more; dedicated computers for searching the catalog are available on each floor across from the elevators

Borrowing Material

Check out library materials with your Cajun Card and use it to pay library fines or Interlibrary Loan fees; add funds to your Cajun Card

Databases

Over 250 research databases, the majority of them available off-campus and via mobile devices; view Databases

Scanners

Self-service KIC Scanning Stations are available on all floors to use at no charge; staff-produced scans of various types are available for a fee; a microfilm scanner is available in the Jefferson Caffery Reading Room on the 3rd floor

Writing Lab

The UL Lafayette Department of English provides writing assistance at its Writing Lab located in the library on the 1st floor in Room 155, around the corner from the Reference Desk; in-person tutoring services are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters to help students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines at any stage in the writing process; resources for those writing in English as a second language are also available; visit the Writing Lab for more information and hours
