To celebrate National Family History Month, Dupré Library is hosting Family First: Finding and Preserving Your Family History. Topics covered include Genealogy 101, using a print genealogy collection, an overview of genealogy websites (laptops recommended), digital preservation basics, and scanning images and documents. Participants are invited to bring up to five items to digitize.
The event takes place Tuesday, October 24 at 3:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Caffery Reading Room on the third floor of Dupré Library. The event is free and open to the public. Visitors to campus may park in the Girard Park Circle Parking Garage.
