Internet connections for laptops

The wireless Internet connections located in the main corridor of the second floor stacks and elsewhere are to be used by UL students, faculty, and staff only. Physical Internet connections are located on the second floor hallway of the library. You must configure your computer with a wireless card or built-in wireless to access the University's official wireless network (UWIN) and register with the network. Non-UL laptop users will not be able to use the Internet because of the university's "Net Reg" regulations. All computer users who want to use the UL network must register their computers on the network and to do so must have a UCS account (CLID and Password). This UCS account is not available to non-UL patrons.

Library patrons are expected to comply with the ULL published policies on the use of computers and network resources. The policies are on the University's Web page. (http://www.louisiana.edu/InfoTech/Policies/comp_net.html).
