Remote access to electronic databases:
Most of the databases can be accessed from off-campus. If prompted, enter a UCS CLID and password to access a database. To obtain a UCS CLID and password, faculty, staff, and students may visit the Help Desk.

Off-campus access problems?
When the library is closed (hours of operation) and multiple databases from different providers (for example, JSTOR and Academic Search Complete) are unavailable from off campus, the UL Lafayette IT Department may be able to help you. Please contact them at ithelp@louisiana.edu or 337.482.5516.

Contains 1,000 hours of classical music performances and masterclasses captured on video—approximately 1,500 performances in all. JSTOR Plant Science
An online environment that brings together content, tools, and people interested in plant science. It provides access to plant type specimens, taxonomic structures, scientific literature and related materials such as letters, maps, paintings, and drawings. It also provides an easy-to-use interface that supports research and teaching, including the ability to measure and record plant specimens, share observations and objects with colleagues and classmates, and investigate global plant biodiversity.

Social Science Electronic Data Library
A premium health and social science resource consisting of over 500 datasets from more than 290 studies. The datasets are organized into 9 topically-focused collections or archives and each was selected for inclusion by a National Advisory Panel of experts in that archive's topical focus. SSEDL is a unique source of primary research data known for the quality of exemplary data, usability of the format and accessibility for easy search and analysis. Available through June 9, 2012.
