We have selected resources to support and enhance student learning and the research and scholarship activities of the University. The following are some of the technologies available in the library.


Audio/Visual Equipment

Includes TV/VCR combos, players for DVDs, Blu-Rays, cassette and CDs, headphones, LCD monitors, microforms readers and more; inquire at Circulation and Microforms areas

Adaptive Technology

For the visually impaired; inquire at Circulation

Cajun Card ADM

Add funds to your Cajun Card using the ADM located in 1st Floor Copy Center

Charging Lockers

30 secure lockers on the 1st Floor in the alcove behind the Bib Lab SMART classroom provide power outlets for charging laptops; see Laptop Charging Lockers Policy

Charging Stations

For mobile devices, including phones and tablets; around the library in various locations; please be responsible for watching your devices while they are charging

Collaboration Stations

Large monitors and whiteboards allow groups to view information, work together on projects and create group presentations; see Collaboration Stations

Computer Labs

Copy Machines

Located in the 1st and 2nd Floor Copy Centers and the 3rd Floor Jefferson Caffery Reading Room

E-Resources

Access to thousands of electronic books and journals; see Research

Media

Includes DVDs, CDs, Records, Cassettes, Microforms, and Streaming Videos; see Media

Printing

Printers are available to students with a print limit of 250 pages per semester; see Printing

Remote Access

The majority of the library's online resources and databases are accessible off-campus 24/7; see Remote Access Information

Scanners

Located in the 1st and 2nd Floor Copy Centers; overhead scanner and microfilm scanner located in the 3rd Floor Jefferson Caffery Reading Room
