Love, Uel (1907–1997). Collection, 1919–1995

Uel Love was born in Winnfield, Louisiana on April 21, 1907. After graduating from Winnfield High School, he went on to attend Southwestern Louisiana Institute (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette). Love was the vice-president of the Southwestern Louisiana Institute band and a member of Sigma Pi Alpha. He graduated from Southwestern Louisiana Institute in 1930 with a Bachelor of Science. Love then became a captain in the United States Army during World War II. He passed away on December 25, 1997 in Tampa, Florida.

This collection contains programs from plays, certificates earned, a report card, and reunion publications from both Winnfield High and the University of Southwestern Louisiana (formerly Southwestern Louisiana Institute).
