In the 1940s, Franklin Boggs was commissioned by the Aloe Company, a medical supply company in New Orleans, LA, to capture the evolution of the state's medical history. The 112-foot by 57-inch mural located in the Library's Reference and Research Services area depicts memorable events in Louisiana’s medical history.

Learn more about the mural and it's transition from the Aloe Company to Tulane University and now Edith Garland Dupré Library.
