This collection contains records mainly from First Lutheran Church of Crowley, LA. This church at times had a joint ministerial appointment with St. John Lutheran Church of Iota, LA and occasionally with Immanuel Lutheran Church, Jennings, LA. The collection includes correspondence, reports, minutes of related organizations, record books, etc. Some material from other area Lutheran churches is included also.
Much of the material was donated by Carl R. Froitzheim. See also: Collection 77, Carl R. Froitzheim Collection, for material on First Lutheran Church, Cowley live oaks [1-63 and 1-64] and some Lutheran church correspondence [1-04].
