Kerr-McGee Corporation offers oil and natural gas exploration and production services in the United States. Kerr-McGee Corporation was formerly known as Kerr-McGee Oil Industries, Inc. and changed its name to Kerr-McGee Corporation in 1965.

The company was founded in 1929 by Robert S. Kerr (1896-1963) and Dean A. McGee (1904-1989) and is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As of August 10, 2006, Kerr-McGee Corporation operates as a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.
