Bradley Hugh Pollock was born March 16, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from James H. Bowen High School in June 1973. He received his B.A. degree at Oberlin College on May 1977, majoring in History. He then received his M.A. from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) in May 1980. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Michigan in 1988. He taught History at the University of Southwestern Louisiana/University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1984 until his death in 2009.
Pollock was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Alpha Theta, Pi Gamma Mu, Louisiana Historical Association, Southwestern Historical Association, and other organizations as well. He published several papers and appeared on the Acadiana Open Channel.
This collection consists of his writings, courses taught, evaluations and recommendations. Also included is his Curriculum Vita.
