Sylvia Roberts was a lawyer, educator, and women’s rights activist. She was a member of the National Organization for Women and was victorious in the Weeks v. Southern Bell case for fighting gender-based discrimination.

This collection contains Ms. Roberts’s working files various topics important to women’s rights advocates. These include abortion, the Equal Rights Amendment, maternity benefits, and women’s education.
