Use of Electronic Resources by Visitors

Visitors can use the Dupré Library's Reference Online Center (ROC Lab), which has 24 computers for access to the Library Catalog, electronic research databases, and Federal depository government information resources.

No general Internet use is available to visitors.

Edith Garland Dupré Library is contractually obligated to limit remote (off-campus) access to licensed online library resources to current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Members of the public can access most of these library electronic resources within the library.

In general, while printing is unavailable, visitors can save online documents using the email function within the online database (if available) or by downloading them to a USB drive. Federal government information users have access to printing. For assistance, inquire at the Reference Desk.

Visitors may register their devices for guest access to the University's wireless network. Refer to the University IT Service Desk's "Guest Access to Wireless Network," which contains steps on how to connect.

For help or more information, contact the Reference Desk at (337) 482-6030, email, or use the 'Got Questions? Ask Us!' box to chat.
