This collection reflects the activities of Carl R. Froitzheim in The Plumber and Pipe Fitting Industry union, Local # 106, Lake Charles, LA [also United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry]. It contains records mainly from the Plumber and Steamfitters Local #106 Health and Welfare Fund and Pension Trust Fund.

This collection contains correspondence, reports, passbook and membership cards, benefit booklets for the Pension Trust Fund and other miscellaneous materials as well. There is also some material from the Louisiana AFL-CIO especially regarding political issues and opposition to Right-to-Work Law.
